The Hillcrest 14714SD is built by Hillcrest Trailers in Sweetwater, Tennessee, engineered as a heavy-duty, commercial-grade workhorse that packs maximum dumping muscle into a nimble 14-foot footprint. Rated at a true 14,000 lb GVWR with an empty weight around 4,405 lbs, it gives you a massive 9,595 lbs of usable payload capacity for rock, dirt, brush, and equipment. The bed measures 83 inches wide by 14 feet long with 24-inch tall sides and is built tough with an ultra-durable, seamless 7-gauge steel floor. Underneath, Hillcrest backs it with serious iron—an 8-inch, 13 lb I-beam main frame and wrap tongue supported by 3-inch channel crossmembers on tight 12-inch centers. Hoisting is powered by a commercial 12-ton, 3-stage front telescopic cylinder running on an efficient power-up/gravity-down system that delivers incredible lifting leverage right where you need it while saving battery life.
