The Hillcrest 14716SD is built by Hillcrest Trailers in Sweetwater, Tennessee, engineered as a heavy-duty, commercial-grade workhorse designed to handle demanding jobsite abuse, demolition debris, and equipment hauling. Rated at a 14,000 lb GVWR with an empty weight of roughly 4,680 lbs, it delivers a massive 9,595 lbs of usable payload capacity. Its 83-inch-wide by 16-foot-long bed features 24-inch rigid sidewalls and an ultra-tough single-sheet 7-gauge steel floor, backed by a robust 8-inch I-beam frame and tongue with 3-inch channel crossmembers on 12-inch centers. At the heart of the dump system is a commercial 12-ton, 3-stage front telescopic cylinder powered by a smooth power-up/gravity-down hydraulic pump, giving you serious lifting leverage and efficient battery conservation.
